Journeys of June

June 2013 - We went on a family camping trip with Nana and Papa. Seth found a sweet new camp site after roaming around. It was perfect for the whole family to stay at - with an area for games, an area for eating and the perfect fire pit! This was the girls first camp trip and they really seemed to love it! (Which really made Papa happy!) As for me, well, I ended up getting sick :( So we had to cut our trip short, but while we were there we did have some fun playing cornhole, bocce ball & that tailgate game with the balls on a rope! LOL! The men set up our new REI tent and we ended up on flattened in the morning, blow-up mattresses - and Suri rolled off onto the ground :/

We headed to the lake for a little walk. Suri climbed the rocks with her Papa (in the 2nd pic if you look real close). Then Suri played with her Nana, throwing rocks into the water.

We went to lunch and Suri got excited to take a picture with the big wooden bear!

Back in Bakersfield, it seemed like we were at the doctor every other week with one of the girls. We had ear infections, the flu, croup... whatever was going around, they got it! My poor babies :(
