Vegas Vacation
Feb 2013
Once again, we met up with our besties in Las Vegas! Every year, we
swear, 'Never again, Vegas, never again,' yet here we are. It's the
midway point for each of us, so why not? And this time, we did some new
things and pretty much stayed away from the Strip, which made it more
pleasant for all. The girls were so excited to spend time together and
had tons of fun going swimming, reading books, watching movies, playing
with their baby dolls and more! Sofia loved having someone close to her
size too! She and McKay are 7 weeks apart. Reagan and Suri are 8 months
apart. We had a great time, even with some little ones being sick, and
maybe next year we'll finally meet up somewhere else. If not.... there's
always Vegas! LOL.
Suri & Sofia @ a pit stop on the way to Vegas * Suri & Reagy reunited!!
crawling babies & coloring books
Sofia wore Daddy's hat a lot! * Me & Miss McKay
Seth and Nick took some guy time and went for a hike.
While Shay and I took the girls to the pool for a swim!
We spent a lot of our time at the pool and the hot tub... it's one of our requirements for a hotel stay :)
This trip was neat because we went and saw the Hoover Dam, which was really impressive.
We got family pics and a group shot and then found our home states right next to each other :)
Random shots walking on the Strip: Seth & I * Suri & Sofia under the Harley Davidson restaurant sign
We caught a Mermaid show and the fish feeding at the aquarium at the Silverton!
The girls loved watching all the fish & were so surprised by the mermaid - a real life Ariel!
These two are so stinkin cute together! Holding hands while walking through Bass Pro Shop
and then giving each other hugs & kisses (Suri about knocking Reagy over!).
A lion set up @ Bass Pro
Then we took a visit to the M&M factory because well...who doesn't love M&M's?
We got a bag of coconut, pretzel, raspberry, mint and regular peanut flavored... and pretzel was definitely the best - with regular peanut & coconut following close behind. We took pics with the Green Girl M&M who was all decked out for Easter... the girls posed by an M&M banner... we caught a 3-D movie... and then got a group shot in front of the M&M's decked out 'Vegas' style!
We always have a great time seeing our friends and miss being close by them. Hopefully one day we'll be able to live near each other again & our girls will all be best friends!! We love you guys! xoxo
Looks like the vacation was a lot of fun!
