So much going on in July! Seth got offered a job - so that means we'll be leaving for the East coast again! Seth's birthday, Sofia's 1st birthday.... packing, projects & spending as much time as possible with the family!!

Seth decided he wanted to build us a new dining table since ours was warped and we'd need a smaller one anyway living in an apartment. So he came up with this beauty! Rustic and country and absolutely perfect! And of course, Dad helped out a TON too! I am so thrilled and appreciative for the beautiful table! You guys should start a business?! (wink wink Dad.). Seth also made some amazing Restoration Hardware inspired nightstands, which I sadly don't have a picture of - cause they are amazing!! He's so good to me :)

Sadly, we could no longer keep our dogs and had to find them a new home. Luckily, our cousin Priscilla said she would love to have them, and we got Ares all pampered to go to his new house/owner! Priscilla and Suri were making silly faces and taking lots of selfies ;) Meanwhile, Sofia was having fun with Daddy practicing her balance! We are so thankful that Priscilla was able to take care of Ares & Luna and that she gives them the love and attention they deserve! I miss them, and Suri always talks about her dogs, but they have a lovely new home, a great new owner, and a new friend too!

AHH!! Our baby is ONE year old already! Boy, does time fly! She loved her first balloon from Auntie Amanda! Since her birthday and Seth's are right around Independence Day, we decided to go patriotic for this All American Girl's birthday party!

my favorite part of the 1st bday: smash the cake! She was very reluctant at first when everyone was standing around staring at her, but as soon as everyone went away, she dove right in! YUM! Taste that heavenly goodness! Now she has the sweet tooth, just like her mama ;)
